Ricardo Quaresma set to join Rossoblù
By: j | June 7th, 2009Confident that Ricardo Quaresma is set to make the move to the Rossoblù, club president Enrico Preziosi declared on Italian media outlet “Radio Radio” that negotiations for the Portuguese international will be finalized next week:
“I am certain we will conclude negotiations for Quaresma next week.”
Of the talented Robert Acquafresca, it appears he is unlikely headed to Genova as Mr. Preziosi said, “I think he will go elsewhere with a team able to guarantee him first team football.”
Addressing concerns of Domenico Criscito and Raffaele Palladino, the president assured Genoa supporters that terms will be met with Juventus to seem them return:
“Our intention is to keep (Raffaelle) Palladino and (Domenico) Criscito. We will soon meet with Juventus and I am sure we will reach an agreement.”

Hmmm. I think I read something about a half-term loan deal. I would hate for us to sell Quaresma outright – I think there is still a whole lot of potential there. I would hate to give up on him after only a few months.

Hey, good news for Genoa. I think, just like Johonna, that Quaresma has more fuel in the tank than most of us are lead to believe. If he ends up in Genoa, I hope he does well.

I feel bad about all of the deceiving news, from all sources, that Quaresma was going to join Genoa. In the ned, he turned down the move to join Genoa. Too bad for him, as Im sure he is looking for a big-name tram to play for……
